Solidi gains full FCA CryptoAssets registration

Today, we are delighted to announce that Solidi is now fully registered as a CryptoAssets business with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Solidi is the only UK exchange with instant onboarding that has been registered by the FCA. We join just 8 other firms (including 2 other retail exchanges) that become registered with the FCA. There are 80 firms still with temporary permissions and over 60 firms having withdrawn their applications.

This registration is under the UK Money Laundering regulations and is a requirement for all cryptoasset businesses operating in the UK. It ensures that we have the correct systems and controls inplace to detect and help prevent financial crime, however it is not a full Authorisation (this is not available to CryptoAsset businesses).

Cryptocurrency has experienced explosive growth over the last 4 years, but it has increasingly become the target of scammers promising untold riches. Our mission since 2015 has been to make investing in crypto as safe and simple as possible.

New customers can get started instantly at www.solidi.co – all new customers in July and August will be entered into a draw to win a Ledger Nano and £100 of crypto.

Customers can check Solidi’s registration with the FCA register.

We’re hoping you’ll join Solidi, either as a new crypto investor, or bringing your existing portfolio to our tried and tested platform.

Onwards!
